My Samsung scx 4300 faulty: scanner error! I tried all the firmware from 1.13 to 1.25 in circulation but does not work anyone. What can I do?

I tried follow on this step below
The display on Samsung SCX-4300 should say:
- Data receiving
- Flash erasing
- Flash Programming
- Checksumming
- Download Ok
However, I saw in the printer SCX-4300 that Data receiving and then Program Upgrade…Please wait…
I was wait it so long time, but it still see this message, nothing go on.
Every one who know how to solve this problem help me please?

As a side note: the toner for ML-1710 WILL work without issues on the SCX-4300

i followed the procedure given above.my printer displays “program upgrade”.tell me how much time it will take.please help to get out from this problem…..

I also had the scanner error issue after flashing the printer to the 1.13 version.
I fixed it after finding a 1.16 firmware there: http://rapidshare.com/files/246230212/reset_scx4300_sc1.rar
